Overview
See the desert and the Grand Mosque in one private day, without rushing. Our licensed guides pick you up from your Dubai hotel at 8 AM and take you to the red dunes for an exciting 4×4 dune-bashing ride in the cool morning air. Enjoy a camel ride, take a photo with a falcon, and try sandboarding if you like. Quad biking is available as an optional extra.
At around 12:30 PM we drop you back at your hotel, so you can rest, have lunch and freshen up. This is also the perfect time to change into modest clothing for the mosque.
At 3 PM we pick you up again, from the same hotel or another Dubai address, and drive to Abu Dhabi. You visit Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in the late afternoon, when the white marble glows in the sunset light and the evening lights come on. Your guide shares the story of the mosque, its architecture and Emirati culture. Then we drive you back to Dubai.
